Our Story
Foodies Unhinged Kitchen Club started as a simple idea: what if neighbors got together to cook and share food from cuisines they've never tried before? What began as a small gathering has grown into a vibrant community of food enthusiasts in New Providence, NJ.
Every few months, we pick a cuisine that's new to most of us—whether it's Ethiopian, Korean, Peruvian, or something else entirely—and everyone brings a dish to share. It's not about being a professional chef; it's about curiosity, experimentation, and the joy of sharing a meal together.
How It Works
We Pick a Cuisine
Every few months, we vote on a new cuisine to explore together.
Everyone Cooks
Members choose a dish from that cuisine to prepare and bring to share.
Hosts Rotate
Hosting rotates for each event so everyone takes a turn welcoming the group.
We Gather & Feast
We come together for a potluck dinner, sharing food and stories.
Share Recipes
After each event, we share our recipes along with the background behind them and their cultural significance.
